Jessica Miller (00:01.767)
Hello, Melanie, welcome to the It’s Your Offer podcast. I’m so happy to have you here, welcome.

Melanie Benson (00:06.754)
Thank you. I am so thrilled to be here. I love your show and have been pinching it lately. So very fun to actually be on the mic with you.

Jessica Miller (00:17.281)
well, what’s this like co-fan girl moment? Because I love your content, as you know, and it’s always so great to be in a space with somebody like you. So, this is going to be such a great episode. So, for all of our listeners, tell us a little bit about you, your story. It’s such a good one. So, people would love to hear this.

Melanie Benson (00:20.321)
Yes.

Melanie Benson (00:26.414)
Thank you.

Melanie Benson (00:35.15)
You know, I’m known as an authority amplifier and I have been doing this since the year 2000. I officially walked away from corporate and was full time in 2001. So, I’ve in this space for a really, really long time. And today the work that I do in the world is I work with people who have expertise. They want to scale the reach of their expertise. They want to make a bigger impact, be a ripple maker, I like to call it, but they also want to change.

generate really great revenue in the process. They want to be paid well for their expertise. And the specialty area that I have is I help them take what they do and amplify the reach of it by getting known for what I call their lighthouse message. And this allows people to instantly recognize what you do, but also it puts you in the space where you’re unignorable in the marketplace.

And I love where I’ve landed. I’ve had a few iterations along the way, as most of us have. We’ve been in this a long time. Because I think, you know, I started in one place and it was what my skill was, but it wasn’t what my superpower was. And it wasn’t really what I believe I’m here to do. And so, kind of my own journey with being invisible for a really, really long time, feeling like I don’t know how to break out and

be able to help people in a greater way and then finding a secret sauce and then having it go up and down and up and down. And, you know, it’s just this fascinating journey that’s led me to have a really unique superpower, if you will, to help people who are playing at that higher level to be able to reach more of the people they’re meant to serve in a way that’s staying authentically aligned with their authority and, you know, what they’re here to do.

Jessica Miller (02:28.241)
Yeah, tell us more about the superpower and that distinction and how you sort of found that path. I love this.

Melanie Benson (02:35.116)
Yeah, so I had to really reflect it at a certain point because I was doing what I had been trained to do in corporate America, but I was burned out. And, you know, I’m a trained coach. certified in multiple modalities, from coach training to NLP and hypnosis and a billion other things. But what I just kind of looked into early on was like, what is causing my burnout? And what I realized is when we do things that are strength.

but we don’t really have passion and joy behind it. It’s very easy to get burned out because we’re doing something because we have to or because we cannot because it lights us up. And I’m a firm believer is that there’s a lot of things we have to do in business that don’t necessarily light us up, but there’s a lot of ways to get them done. And we can really make sure that we’re spending 80 % of our time in the work that lights us up. And that fuels the other things that have to get done by us that no one else can do.

And I spent a lot of time kind of fine tuning my own threshold of what’s gonna be in, what’s gonna be out, what’s gonna light me up. If you follow human design at all, I don’t know if you guys have ever talked about that here, but human design, I’m a manifestor and my manifestor energy is to be a spark. And when I’m operating like a generator, that’s what my old superpower or my old skillset was really a generator type energy.

help people create plans, help them, you know, keep them accountable. All of those things are really important, but they weren’t my best energy. And I have found that if we want to be making bigger ripples of impact on this planet, we have to stay in alignment with our greatest source of energy, whatever that is for you, for me, for you as you’re listening in.

And that’s what makes us unignorable because there’s this magnetic spark quality that emits. Like we become so attractive and energetically resonant with the people we’re here to work with. They’re like, I don’t even know what this person does, but I want it, right? So yeah, that was a huge growing edge for me along the way.

Jessica Miller (04:43.227)
Yeah.

Jessica Miller (04:47.953)
Yeah, my gosh, this is like speaking to my soul of hell yes energy, Melanie. Like yes to every single piece of that. It’s such a different place to create from. You could be doing even similar things, but if you just have that slight twist where you’re really identifying like what lights you up, how do I incorporate that into my life? How do I use that as my North Star? Everything you create downstream from there is so different. Feels different, creates different impact, everything.

Melanie Benson (05:17.378)
And it’s so easy to fall out of alignment with it because I don’t know, Jessica, you and I are still kind of getting to know each other on a deeper level, but you know, when you are a visionary, when you’re a high creative, when you are a high achiever, you’re like, I can do that. And the next thing you know, you’re in it, right? Like you’re, you’re chasing this new idea. And then somewhere along the way, many of us are like, what am I doing? Why did I say yes to this? Why is this in our…

Jessica Miller (05:21.706)
yeah, yes.

Jessica Miller (05:43.067)
Yes.

Melanie Benson (05:46.795)
in our path, you on our journey right now. And when we really understand our, what you call that North Star and what’s the compass of when I’m aligned to this, magic happens. When I get out of alignment with this, things start to feel heavy. I start to feel burnt out. I start to wonder why am I here, right? And we start to attract all of the wrong people as collaboration partners, as…

Jessica Miller (06:09.467)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Melanie Benson (06:12.718)
Clients as team members, right? Like everything just is off. So yeah, it’s a big piece of the puzzle for a lot of us that are doing big work

Jessica Miller (06:21.693)
Yeah, and I’d love to know why do you think that happens? Because I have found, with my work in Hell Yes! models, it’s the last thing people tend to think about. It’s sometimes like the byproduct, like they end up in something that really lights them up just sort of by accident. Like they’re not leading with that, but I’m curious what you’re seeing from your side.

Melanie Benson (06:43.758)
Well, I think there’s a couple of reasons why it can happen. In my work with my own clients, think ambition when pursued without alignment can take us off track. Many of us have multiple things that we’re good at, right? We’re high achievers, like we’re massively capable beings. And when we see that there’s a possible path, especially if we’re at an event or we’re in a

collaborative partnership, we’re in a mastermind, right? We’re in a room with people that are doing big things and all of sudden that spark is igniting. They’re like, AI, I need this. Oh, they’re doing this, right? Like I could do that too. And then you build it you’re like, what is this? So going back to my own story for a minute, in the early days of coaching, it was the wild, wild west, Jessica. Like everything was game.

Jessica Miller (07:15.645)
Stay in a group.

Jessica Miller (07:22.567)
Yeah.

Jessica Miller (07:29.437)
What am I doing?

Jessica Miller (07:38.663)
yeah, I remember.

Melanie Benson (07:40.639)
I was laughing with a friend of mine the other day, we’ve both been in the industry for over 20 years and we’re like, yeah, you remember when you put an email out and you made like, you know, $10,000 in an hour? Like, yeah, that doesn’t really happen the same way for most of us anymore. And so, things have changed dramatically. And back then there were so many new things that were coming to life. There were so many mentors who were saying, hey, this is the path to scale your business, or this is how you’re going to hit seven figures.

And it was just a lot of information without a lot of congruence, without a lot of guidance on how to be discerning what’s right for me versus what’s just a really great idea that someone else is going to run with. And that was the thing that I really had to work on for myself. I know a lot of my clients have, and it can be confusing because you’re like, I want to hit this goal. They’re saying, this is how I hit my goal.

Jessica Miller (08:25.373)
Totally.

Melanie Benson (08:35.982)
and it’s not working for me, it’s burning me out. So, I think there’s that. think there’s also, there are personalities that are multi-passionate. I’m not necessarily a multi-passionate personality, I just have lots of capabilities. But if you’re a multi-passionate, you do wanna do all the things. In human design, that’s known as the manifesting generator. In the Enneagram model, that’s oftentimes the Enneagram seven.

It’s like we want to do all the things we don’t want any stone unturned. You don’t want anything to actually pass by you without trying it or experiencing it. And they haven’t really developed a connection point with what’s in human design is known as your authority. And your authority is the place that you make your most aligned decisions from. And each of us has a tuning fork, if you will, of what that is and how we have that clarity. For me,

And Jessica, I’m sure you can massively relate to this. I spent the first decade of my business making decisions like generators make decisions, like people who had gut intuition. I don’t have gut intuition. I don’t have that energy in me. I’m an emotional authority. And when this got really explained to me and I fine-tuned this, my gosh, it was like the world.

unfolded in such a powerful way. Flow started to activate where force was my, you know, my BFF for a long time. And I started to recognize that fine tuning of decision-making. And instead of feeling like I was chasing lots of things that didn’t work for me or maybe burnt me out later, or like I had this heavy feeling about, but I said yes, because I should. Cause I think a lot of us had that FOMO quality.

Jessica Miller (10:08.131)
Yeah.

Jessica Miller (10:23.485)
Mm-hmm.

Melanie Benson (10:26.678)
I started to really listen to my own authority and make decisions from it. And it was radically powerful. And that’s one of the things I work with my clients on is if you’re going to pursue this big goal, we need to be really, really clear where you make your best decisions from. I was working with a client, Jessica, I do these, what I call this monetization makeover on people’s messages and especially how they bring them out so they can get out of obscurity and into this unignorable quality.

And she spent thousands of dollars with different mentors over the years. And we were working this process. And so, we were working on, you know, her known for statement. And it was so confusing and kind of airy fairy. And I said, you know, we started using her, her human design authority. And all of a sudden it started clicking in a way that it never had. And the, language we came up with lit her up and it made perfect sense from a client’s

being able to take it in and go, yes, I want that, but also it lit her up and made her feel congruent with her own superpowers. And I think that’s something that many of us miss. just do what our mentors tell us to do instead of really embodying it.

Jessica Miller (11:36.413)
Yeah.

Totally. And it’s so funny because I think I’ve said this to many, many people that we, especially when it comes to messaging or explaining what we’re doing, we’re always very outward focused. Like we think, we want to make it clear for the clients and it needs to resonate in the marketplace and all of these things. Like it’s almost, we need to sell people on this idea. But the most important person you are selling yourself on is you.

Like once you align with that, once you hear those words in your ear and you’re like, yes, that is the thing. Hell yes, I want to do this. You have an identity shift and that identity shift is a major, major thing for people.

Melanie Benson (12:20.598)
I love that we’re having this conversation because I call this like accidental success moments. I started attracting a lot of high achievers, really well-known experts who had known me for quite some time, but they’re like, man, I feel invisible. It’s like, I have no problem making money. It’s not like I can’t get money in the door, but something about the way my message is kind of going out and I’m amplifying it, it’s not landing.

Jessica Miller (12:37.287)
Yeah.

Melanie Benson (12:48.438)
Like the visibility mechanism wasn’t converting for them. And it was messing with their head, right? Which it does. Like when you’re like, I know what I do, but how come I can’t articulate it well? And one of the things that I started to notice is when we haven’t embodied our most aligned, most powerful, like what we’re known for and what.

Jessica Miller (12:59.889)
Mm-hmm.

Melanie Benson (13:12.526)
how we’re going to articulate and even all the way through pulling through what you do, like the lead magnet and the offer so that we feel so powerful when we talk about it, when we communicate, when we’re being visible about it, the confidence starts to erode and you can have a massive track record, but now you’re pointing your focus in a direction that you don’t feel 100 % about because somebody said you should do it. Guess what?

you’re going to find reasons to not go on that stage, to not pursue that podcast interview invitation that was made, to not collaborate and to put yourself out there because there’s a seed of doubt, there’s an incongruency, there’s something that’s starting to get out of sync for you. And that internal conflict festers and causes you to play small, to take a step back.

Jessica Miller (14:06.973)
I think this is a huge thing.

Melanie Benson (14:07.916)
And that is why so many great people aren’t recognized in a bigger way. They’re not getting their workout in this effortless manner. It feels like efforting a lot is because you don’t have a way for people to recognize why you.

Jessica Miller (14:22.247)
Yeah, and you’re hedging. You are hedging, even sometimes subconsciously, because all of that lack of internal confidence, that imposter syndrome, those things that just come up, they hold you back even without realizing it. And I know you and I have talked about this idea of being in the right spaces, trusting that inner voice and that energy, connecting with the people that are

Melanie Benson (14:27.8)
Mm-hmm.

Jessica Miller (14:50.447)
I always joke with people that like get it and get you that you’re locking arms with. I think it’s more important than ever because when you are off alignment, it just fosters that insecurity in a huge way. And you think it’s you, especially for women. You know, we tend to think like, I’m the common denominator, so there must be something wrong with me. And it’s actually not you. It’s just what’s happening in the right in this circle that you’re in, this kind of spiral.

Melanie Benson (15:20.632)
Well, and you did an episode on this not too long ago, or at least maybe you re-aired the MVP episode on being in the right rooms. And I think there’s a kind of a sidestep here, if you will, that when you’re in the wrong rooms, I loved what you said, I’m gonna paraphrase, that when you’re in the wrong rooms, it causes you to doubt yourself. It causes you to kind of morph into fitting in in a way, or you’re gonna like,

Jessica Miller (15:27.249)
Yeah.

Jessica Miller (15:47.441)
Yep. You’re the black sheep. Right.

Melanie Benson (15:48.493)
be like the bull in the China shop and you’re gonna be breaking a lot of things, right? But most people tend to kind of shrink to fit into the room that you’re in. And that’s part of how we become a best kept secret is people don’t recognize why you. So, I have a belief that when somebody recognizes your expertise, the problem that you solve or this, like what you can help people accomplish,

and you become known for that and then you reinforce it over and over and over again with your content, with your visibility strategy and with collaborations that can propel and compound your reach, then you become the unignorable expert. This is a big thing that I teach. I actually have a free guide that I’m happy to share with the listeners later, Jessica, but this is what I teach is like, and this is the authority trifecta. Get known for something.

and then make sure that every pillar, every way in which you’re experienced in the world is reinforcing it. Something that kills me, and I’m gonna translate this to hiring people for my team, is, yeah, you’ve probably experienced this too, right? It’s like, okay, so let’s say I’m looking for a business manager. Actually, let’s do something else. Let’s talk about, let’s say I’m looking for a copywriter.

Jessica Miller (16:59.709)
Okay, please. love this.

yeah, I’m sure.

Melanie Benson (17:14.518)
and I hear about somebody on a platform. great, this person sounds perfect. And then I go look at them somewhere else and all of their stuff says something totally different, right? One time I was hiring a copywriter and copywriter slash like they were gonna do some project work for me. And on LinkedIn, they said one thing and then I went to their Facebook page and they’re like a cookie artist. And then they went to their website and they were talking about being a designer and I got really quickly, they’re multi-passionate.

but that’s not what I want. I want somebody who’s a specialist who owns that, who brings that to life. Now that’s a light example, but let’s just say you have a lot of things you can do and you’re trying to put them all into your website. You’re trying to put them all into your LinkedIn profile. And now people are like, well, I don’t know, can they do what I need them to do? And if they can’t figure it out quickly, guess what? You’re not getting the request.

Let’s translate this to collaborations. I do a ton of collaborative events. I do a ton of, you know, people coming on my podcast, just like you do on yours. If I go and I vet them, I want to know instantly, what are they known for? What’s the magic they’re going to bring to the mic? What is it that my audience is going to get from this collaboration? Can I count on them? Because when you have that consistency of what you’re known for,

Jessica Miller (18:30.247)
Mm-hmm.

Melanie Benson (18:39.662)
you become the person that people refer, that they remember, and they’ll turn to because you’re top of mind. But if you’re constantly flipping between all these different things, which sometimes happens because we’re figuring out our way, but that creates more doubt or confusion.

Jessica Miller (18:53.693)
Sure. Yeah.

Jessica Miller (18:58.557)
Yeah, and that friction in people’s brain is problematic because it just slows them down, especially when they’re in a process of thinking about how to make a choice. It creates that problem. And then I think the other part of this, like from a scientific perspective is we file people in our brains by that message, by that problem, right? They’re connected. So, it’s like Melanie is right next to what her, you know, one liner is and what she’s known for.

Melanie Benson (19:03.235)
Yes.

Jessica Miller (19:26.523)
And if there’s 17 things, we don’t know what box to put you in becomes very unforgettable because we can’t think of you everywhere.

Melanie Benson (19:35.331)
Yeah, and also, I think there’s something in the market right now as we’re experiencing this very volatile, know, every time we get everything figured out, like it changes again kind of marketplace. And, you know, people want certainty. They’re craving people they can trust, that have credibility, that can…

Jessica Miller (19:47.407)
It’s right. Totally.

Jessica Miller (19:52.707)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yes.

Melanie Benson (19:58.799)
cut through the noise and make them feel confident that they are the one that they can count on to get them to an outcome. And when you’ve got so many different things that you’re doing, it just doesn’t bring people to certainty. And as we know, there’s the old marketing adage, it confused mind doesn’t buy.

Jessica Miller (20:17.671)
That’s right. Yep. That’s right. And when there’s so many options and so many things and you’ve got three seconds of time to get that person to buy in and keep listening or looking or reading, it has to be spot on. And I’m wondering if you have found that simpler is better.

Melanie Benson (20:30.306)
Yeah.

Melanie Benson (20:37.108)
Okay, well, let’s talk about simplify. This is a little bit. Yes, let’s double the podcast today. Okay, so first of all, I want to ask you as you’re listening in today, how often do you go about initiating something in your business, pursuing an opportunity, taking an idea to market, and the next thing you know, your great idea turns into 1000 things that have to get done, right? Or

Jessica Miller (20:38.269)
ha-ha

Do we have another hour here?

Melanie Benson (21:06.974)
Maybe you get stuck in perfection mode where you know, it’s like the idea is paused because you can’t get it right So speaking of I’m doing this in air quotes for you listening in This is where I have had to do a lot of my own growing I know a lot of my clients do is like we have to simplify things and I am a firm believer in the market We’re in right now that if you can simplify the front end of how somebody gets to know your work and get known for something

Jessica Miller (21:16.669)
Thank

Melanie Benson (21:35.565)
And I’ll actually even break this down a little bit and talk about how you might get known. Cause I think it might help if we leave people today with like a little formula, but getting known for something and simplifying how they come in will actually help them choose you faster. And then if you do have lots of different things you can do, like guiding them once they’re already in a relationship with you, they’re starting to get to know your work, the relationship’s getting nurtured, there’s trust being built.

credibility is being established, then you can say, what do you need next? And I believe that that serves you better because think of it like this, if you have multiple friend in offers, it may be exciting to do that. You may feel like, my God, I’m not gonna leave anybody out. But first of all, they don’t know where to start. And secondly, you’ve got to invest in marketing and maintaining all of those different channels, which gets very overwhelming.

And I mean, even from the front end of like, how am I going to be visible? Simplify it. We track everything we do and we make decisions based on what are we going to do more of, but based on what we move the needle. So, here’s an example. I, for many years did free master classes and partnered with people to send, you know, new audiences or to help me build the audience for the master class. And then they kind of stopped working as well.

Jessica Miller (22:39.493)
Mm-hmm.

Melanie Benson (23:03.374)
And we tested a few different things and what really worked better was when I host my live online events twice a year. And it was better for me. It was simpler because we kind of put everything into two big events. We do some things in the follow up on the back end, but that being our front end, was like, yeah, people get to know there are two big things Melanie does. Let’s partner with her on it or I’m coming to Melanie’s event this time, right? And it starts to build that consistency.

that people count on. So that’s just one example from my own business that I found really, really helpful. Track what’s working. Where do I need to be visible? What’s performing the best? What do people say yes to? Optimize that and then figure out the profit path that gets them from that first touch point into your best offer. You don’t have to do everything for everyone to be successful.

Jessica Miller (23:57.98)
Yeah, this is music to my ears, and Melanie, everyone on this podcast is like, on the other side of the mic, they are like nodding their head because they’ve heard me say this so many times. And I think this is especially hard for creative people who want to do a lot of things. And the things that I remind people is like, when you constrain around the thing that is most powerful, you actually expand. And it really does feel effortless. And it’s not throwing spaghetti at the wall because you can see it. And I’m not talking about a complicated like Google Analytics dashboard.

You have a funnel, like you mentioned, you’ve got your summits, you know the assets, you can look at the pieces, you can see how they’re moving. And then it starts to become very clear where those next opportunities are. And it all then creates this flywheel back into what you were talking about before, which is this confidence piece. It’s like, this is aligned with who I am, it’s what I wanna say, I’m doing this kind of work in the world. I can see the bouncing ball going all the way to that offer and that paid program.

And then I feel amazing and it all just comes back right to the beginning. And in the beginning, like dialing that in feels a little hard sometimes because we’re afraid to let things go. but it really does take on a life of its own. And I think that’s really where it gets so fun. so, if people are listening to this and they’re like, okay, I’m totally on board with this. You’re speaking to my soul. What is like the first thing, one thing I can do right now to just start that process? What would you tell them?

Melanie Benson (25:23.918)
Well, I think first of all, you want to ask yourself, if somebody doesn’t know me at all, and they experience me on a podcast or they experience, you know, they find my LinkedIn profile or my Facebook profile or whatever profile you’re on, do they instantly get why me?

What’s the problem I saw where the solution I can help them achieve and why they want to work with me over someone who probably has some similar offerings. That’s your lighthouse message. We didn’t talk a lot about that, but the lighthouse message creates this imprint on people’s minds, but also in their energetic field. They remember you because the way your message makes them feel and what it causes them to recognize about your capability.

about what you’re good at. And that lighthouse message then should guide them in. the, so ask them, ask yourself, does somebody get this? And you may need someone to be that lens for you because you’ve been in this for so long that you go, of course, but if I go to your page, I’m like, no, I don’t know what you do. You need someone that can look at it without a lot of attachment. And then the second thing you wanna do is you wanna think about

Jessica Miller (26:32.529)
Yeah.

how if I specialized, you we were talking about simplification. Well, one of the ways to simplify is to specialize. If I was to specialize, how would I do that? And how would that serve not only me, because I could simplify things, but also my audience, because they would recognize more quickly why me. So, I know we’re getting closer on time. I’m gonna give the super short version of this. There are three key ways to specialize. One is by niche, get known.

to solve a certain problem for a certain type of community, audience, person, right? Like I know you and I, we have pretty specific people that we work with, okay? Second is to get known for a solution or an outcome. It’s like, if you want this, you go to that person. That doesn’t necessarily have to be niched, but it’s very specific. So, for example, is, you know, if you want an AI agent,

Jessica Miller (27:31.569)
Hmm.

Melanie Benson (27:39.159)
Right? And this person specializes in building them. Or if you want somebody who can place a virtual assistant in your business and guarantee it, right? So that would be a specific outcome, but it could be for a lot of different kinds of people. The third one is double niche. Specific niche, specific outcome. You get known in a community for a very specific thing. You have to be careful with that. Because if you haven’t built momentum and you don’t have a large enough niche,

You could very quickly feel like you’re kind of scraping the bottom of the barrel. But if you’re high ticket, if you are working in a high value environment, that can actually serve you very, very well. So, there’s some other little nuances to it that we don’t have time to get into today, but that’s really the key piece is get known for something so that people can go wherever you go. They see your lighthouse message. It speaks to them. It moves them. It makes that imprint.

and you become the recognized expert to them. So, they refer you, they remember you, and they hire you when they need it.

Jessica Miller (28:46.459)
And I think a rock-solid lighthouse message and specificity is like the killer combination. I mean, you have those things on point. I’m sure you’ve seen this with your clients. People just shoot out of the gate. Like they’re like lit up. It’s so clear, all that clarity, just pulling people in.

Melanie Benson (28:53.665)
It really is.

Melanie Benson (29:05.824)
And I want to just acknowledge that when the industry around you is volatile, it’s changing, it’s in an evolution, sometimes we have to fine tune the message. Every few years, my message evolves and shifts as I do as the industry changes. And that’s OK. It is not in concrete. So just know, yes, you’re going to do this, and it’s OK to evolve it over time.

Jessica Miller (29:22.289)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yep.

Jessica Miller (29:29.287)
Totally. I think that’s the beautiful thing too. For many people listening to this podcast and for you and I, we don’t have a physical space. We’re not like Main Street USA, brick and mortar downtown. So, the beauty of what we can do is we can pivot. And those little changes that we do when the market is shifting or when we’re shifting something’s happening can make a huge impact. And it doesn’t mean we need to like blow the thing up and start over again. It’s really easy to do that now.

Melanie Benson (29:57.305)
Small tweaks open big doors quickly. Do I have time for one quick story or are we two? Yeah, so just real quick, I have a client that I’m working with. She is like a million and a quarter earner, established for 10 plus years. And all of a sudden, her visibility strategy stopped working. And so, she just needed a fresh perspective. And so, we…

Jessica Miller (30:02.341)
Yes, my gosh yes. Please go ahead. Yeah, good.

Melanie Benson (30:25.976)
dropped into the process and it was tiny tweaks, tiny tweaks to the positioning, tiny tweaks to the messaging. She’d gotten so enmeshed in her own message; she couldn’t see what would land anymore. And that’s the power of, you know, that third party lens, if you will, is have somebody else who really can help pull your message out of you, not put a message on you that’s their message you’re supposed to embody. And that’s really the secret to a lighthouse message.

Anyway, with this particular client, just all of a sudden everything started singing again. She was landing big stages and it was just tiny tweak. It wasn’t throwing it all out, just tweaking what she had.

Jessica Miller (31:03.953)
and I bet she was having the time of her life.

Melanie Benson (31:07.638)
She is having the summer for life. She’s in a good space right now.

Jessica Miller (31:08.687)
Yeah, yeah. So good. That’s so great. my gosh, Melanie, this is awesome. I love the simplicity. love Lighthouse Message is such a powerful name. It’s so clear, you know exactly what it is. It’s super simple. So, you are like living what you are, you know, talking to people about, which I love. And it’s so in alignment for you just knowing you in the short time that I’ve known you, it just, it resonates. And I love that you’ve done this for your own brand, like hearing the…
